Step Four

Welcome to X Gym U Course #4! Your getting smarter, better and fitter with each course, as you learn new X-Factors and put them into practice through lifestyle changes.

Remember, this is about making permanent changes to your daily habits and rituals that will make you healthier, happier and fitter. It’s not a temporary crash diet or quick fix either. Everything you learn through X Gym U can be applied and sustained for the rest of your life to live more vibrantly, energetically and to your fullest potential!

Here is your next Xfactor Xplanation: Xpanding Your Envelopes.

As you get better at TUT and CMF, you will be stretching and Xpanding your mental and physical envelopes. Remember that the purpose of the X Gym workout is to cause you to “fail” every Xercise. Your goal is to get to the point where you can’t actually do what is being asked of you, whether it’s on the app or from your trainer.

Your muscles will only see a need to change if they CAN’T do something. If they CAN complete an exercise, then they say, “OK, that was fine. I could do that, so I must be fine “as-is” and they won’t change. This is why you see people exercising for decades, only to maintain a plateau and not make any real progress.

If you Xpect to reach failure (CMF) and make that the goal, your envelopes will Xpand quickly, and as they do, you will continue to make progress. This will spill over into other areas of your life too, as you are able to push through other things better and farther than ever before, both mentally and physically. This may require some deprogramming of traditional training Xpectations and reprogramming with these new and unique X Gym concepts, which will happen over time, so hang in there and it will “click.” When it does, it will all make sense.

You have noticed by now that you haven’t experienced this X Gym style anywhere else. That’s because PJ invented it! He literally reinvented exercise from the ground up, starting with his research and experimentation from 1986 to the present. It’s a science-based, revolutionary system not seen anywhere else. The X Gym system is continually innovating, updating, improving and evolving too, so be prepared for more Xciting changes as long as you are with us as an X Gym Tribe member!

Remember that X Gym is about helping you achieve your optimum health, first and foremost. As you get healthier, other things happen naturally, without effort, like getting leaner, enjoying increased strength and endurance, and becoming more toned and defined. Healthy bodies are strong, vital, energetic and lean, so remember to focus on health first and the rest will come.

Side note: If you haven’t already thought to take a “before picture” at home, please do so ASAP – especially now that you understand CMF because once you master this concept, your results will really speed up and take off. You can take a selfie, or have someone else take a picture of you, but the best way to do this is to have a shot with these four standing positions: front, left side, back, and right side. Be sure to take all four positions the same distance from the wall behind you and from the camera, with clothes you can wear in the after pictures too.

Nutrition Revolution Step: Eat More Fat.

If you have mastered the previous nutrition steps and are still doing them, then you are ready for this step. Otherwise, keep chipping away at the other steps and be sure to let me know if you need help!

Good fat is not fattening. Certain carbs are fattening and especially eating certain carbs combined with fat. Fat by itself, however, or even with protein, can’t be stored by the body. It will just be burned off instead. With this continued habit, your body will see fat as its primary and preferred fuel source, instead of starches and sugars. Then you will burn fat easily, from the food you eat and off your body.

The best fats for getting healthy and lean are Coconut oil, Omega 3, avocado, butter, ghee, flax oil, and olive oil. Make sure they are “clean” though (i.e. organic or from grass-fed animals) because if they aren’t, they can be quite toxic. For a list of good and bad fats, click here.
