How Karinne lost 6% bodyfat and gained 6 lbs. of muscle

Karinne was featured in our March newsletter because of her amazing progress, and Adam, her main trainer, was also mentioned. Being the humble guy he is, he wanted to post a “correction” to give credit where he felt credit was due. Here’s his response, which I thought was very nice:

PJ’s recent piece on Karinne’s remarkable transformation was nothing short of inspirational! As Karinne’s “main” personal trainer for the past few months, I felt compelled to share a few insights that might shed some light on where the credit is really due.

First, a little about me: I’m the kind of person who takes the term “social media detox” to a whole new level. I’ve managed to steer clear of all social and online platforms (with the obvious exception of the X-Gym Blog). I dipped my toes into Facebook for a hot minute, but that didn’t last long. Honestly, if there were an anti-social media channel, I’d be the poster boy.

Therefore, my decision to chime in on PJ’s blog should tell you just how important I think these insights are about Karinne’s journey, and I hope these words mean as much to everyone as they do to me.

While the original blog post rightfully credited me as her main trainer, let’s put things in perspective: I was one of many. Yes, I trained the bulk of her sessions, but I’d give myself perhaps a humble 5% of the credit for her incredible success.

So what about the other 95%? Let’s break it down:

70%: Karinne Herself

Let’s not kid ourselves—Karinne’s commitment to fitness is unparalleled. She’s like the Energizer Bunny, but with rope pulls, Quadraslides, true CMF, and the occasional offload…ok lots of offloads. I kid, of course (inside joke).

From initially trying to drag herself into X-Gym around 7 a.m. to now rising at the crack of dawn for her intense workouts, her transformation is mostly thanks to her relentless dedication, Xercise intensity, and passion for good health.

Sprinkle in nutritional guidance from PJ and the aid of some Aminos and other supplements, and she’s turned into an absolute fitness powerhouse. Add to that her infectious personality and positive vibes, and you have a recipe for success.

20%: The X Gym Methods

There’s an old adage in sports: an athlete might have all the talent in the world but no brains to use it. We describe that athlete as “having all the tools, but no toolbox!” Well, PJ has equipped all of us with the tools for health, along with the toolbox itself! The magic happens at X-Gym, with TUT, CMF, and PJ dedicating his life to helping everyone achieve their best health. His methods are specifically designed to strengthen, tone, and define muscles, without bulking them up, and this is exactly what happened with Karinne.

5%: The Other Trainers

Lastly, I have found during my own training sessions that sometimes it can be too easy to settle into a “routine rut.” Sometimes you get comfortable with what your trainer offers. But Karinne, bless her, has trained with almost every trainer at X-Gym, and that variety has skyrocketed her success. Fresh perspectives are crucial—trust me, they make a world of difference!

So, as you ponder your path to health and longevity, remember, it all starts with you. That commitment is invaluable. Mix in the training methods from X-Gym, with consistency, intensity, and different trainers, and before you know it, the results will leave you staggering… in a good way, of course (unless we have you doing Xtra Sally Squats – then you’ll be staggering in another way).

I wish you all well in your journey to great health and happiness. Karinne is a wonderful and inspirational example of what can happen with the right attitude, trainers, and tools!
