X Gym Coronavirus COVID 19 updates and links

Hey X Gymers – Here’s Our Current Status Page

*Please click your browser refresh button now in case a status update just came through*

X GYM IS NOW OPEN!

Please see below for more details and COVID-19 procedures and policies.

X Gym Online is also OPEN, normal hours, of course, and always will be, as long as the internet is on.

Since we are doing both live and online now, the choice is yours!

For 1:1 members: To make this easy for everyone, we will assume you will be continuing to train online UNLESS you let us know you would prefer to train in the club, with a notice of at least 24 hours ahead of time, via text to 206-938-XGYM (9496).

For in-gym group classes, please schedule yourself in with the MemberMe+ app so we know to Xpect you live. Otherwise, just follow the Zoom instructions below to attend online (and no need to put yourself in the schedule).

For those of you coming back to live training here are the three easy steps to take, prior to your first session back:

Step 1: The Governor has mandated viewing the video below, prior to your first visit back: https://youtu.be/MHR2QxKegsY

Step 2: Click here to download the state-mandated COVID waiver, then print it, fill it out, and bring it in with you (if you forget it, we will have copies at the club too, but that might cut into your workout time).

Step 3: Make sure you are booked in the schedule and come on in! If the garage door is down, use the code found in your member scheduling app to get in. You will find it in “Announcements,” and also in “Notifications.”

The governor will not allow more than 5 people to attend a live group class at this time. This makes it very important to book yourself into slots using the MemberMe+ app, so you will know if the class is full or not before you make the trip to the club. If it is full, then just login with the Zoom link below and stay home to do it as always!

The governor recommends “high risk” people NOT train in any gyms for now, but that is not mandated anymore. We recognize that our members are free citizens, who are very smart, and able to make their own decisions, taking responsibility for their own health, so we leave that call up to you. “High-risk” individuals are considered people who:

  • Are over the age of 65.
  • Have serious underlying medical conditions like chronic lung disease, and moderate to severe asthma.
  • Are immunocompromised.

All group classes in the schedule can be done online or live at the club. The trainer will be training the people at the club while holding the iPad to monitor the online participants, coaching both online and live members.

And remember the routines are posted on the home Xercise workout page in case you miss a class and need to make it up, or to get in some Xtra workouts!

To get in on the Zoom class, just click the link below and then enter the lower case letter x as the password when prompted.

PJ – Just a quick note of thanks to you and the X Gym. Doing the workout today online was awesome, it really was a mind and body boost.  Just what I needed. The group online class is a great way to get a workout and it also allows me to stay consistent with my kids – no mall, gym, sleepovers, etc. Thanks for all you do!!”

Below is a 53-second clip of Bill, who switched from club 1:1 training to online 1:1 training over a year ago, and actually prefers it now!
